Strengthen impact entrepreneurship in the bioeconomy and a low-carbon economy that generates value from biological diversity and community sovereignty.

DEVELOPMENT
The project was carried out in partnership between AIC, Earth Institute, and the British Government’s Partnership for Forest program. The team modeled strategies to increase the allocation of impact investments in the Amazon region, focusing on seamless integration between enabling organizations, investors and entrepreneurs. The aim was to make the forest bioeconomy ecosystem more competitive and transparent for the efficient allocation of capital. In addition, initiatives were carried out to qualify and strengthen more than 40 local startups.

RESULT
The project has contributed significantly to strengthening the forest bioeconomy in the Amazon region, increasing the competitiveness and transparency of the ecosystem. More than 40 local startups have been qualified and strengthened, helping to attract and allocate impact investments efficiently.
