Analysis of support capacity of land from the perspective of use and occupation and their respective impacts, and of their environmental capacity. The goal is to promote the protection of natural resources, maintaining the quality and features of the landscape, as well as the visiting experience for tourism.

SUSTAINABLE SPATIAL DESIGN

CERTI conducts diagnostics and develops strategies for sustainable land occupation. The model defines reference limits for intervention (impact or use) predicated on natural and social attributes of the land and its support capacity. It is based on the maintenance of the ecological functionalities of the areas, guaranteeing the maintenance of the environmental services they offer. It is applicable mainly to projects that occupy large areas, such as real estate developments, commodity-producing areas, reservoirs and products developed in large scale and extensive linear projects.
