The mechatronic group is engaged in product development for the Brazilian corporate and public sectors. It works on the complete development of the product: from concept and design to embedded electronics design, mechanical design, prototyping, integration and verification testing, the application of precision mechanics technologies, electronics, embedded software, optics, and other technologies that are essential for developing mechatronic products, from the management of product development to economic and technical viability research. The training of human resources and the equipping of laboratories with specialized modeling, simulation, and prototyping resources, establishes competency in mechatronic and microsystem projects that serve clients. The main target areas are: paper handling, automated banking, commercial, electoral, entertainment, education and more recently organic electronics and electromedical equipment systems.
Product design
We strive for excellence in product design, with a focus on the market, combining functionality, ergonomics, aesthetic values and innovation, while always attentive to new trends and technologies. A rapid and efficient model/prototype is produced during the process to help choose the best solution. We study and generate solutions that suit production viability, whether on an industrial scale or in small lots.
Mechanical and micromechanical project (precision mechanics)
The mechanical project consists of: an initial conception, specification of materials and manufacturing processes, component detailing and dimensioning, prototype assembly, testing, revisions, and verification and validation of the prototype. Only after these steps are concluded is the product qualified for the next step, serial production.
The micromechanical project involves the development of small, high-precision mechanical components, generally associated with dynamic systems such as actuators, drives, transmission systems, etc.
Electronic project
The electronic project consists of an initial conception, review of requirements and alternatives, specification of components, preparation of electronic schematics, preparation of the layout, prototyping and prototype assembly, testing, verification and validation. The CERTI Foundation is adept at developing analog and microprocessed electronic products and projects for various areas, such as: electronics for lighting, automation and control of machines and processes, embedded electronics for electromedical devices, data acquisition and telemetry.
Embedded software in mechatronic products
Embedded software development for microprocessing solutions and technological update of existing products.
Mechatronic consulting
CERTI’s mechatronic’s team is qualified to consult on innovative solutions, using experience acquired over the years in the development of solutions and products for the most diverse customers. Additional consulting services include technical viability studies and coaching in product development process management.
Usability tests and voice of customer (VOC)
We offer an environment and staff that is prepared to conduct activities that help identify the perceptions and acceptance of users of a product, whether the product is in the initial phase or is already on the market and looking to be renewed. With well-equipped, versatile rooms, spaces can be arranged for meetings, workshops or other modes of group work; even offering scenarios that allow users to have controlled interactions and experiences with a product.
